Grille 29 is a sophisticated yet casual steak and seafood restaurant located in the Village of Providence - Huntsville, AL.
Being in the Rocket City- home to the Space and Rocket Center and the nation's largest concentration of rocket scientists and engineers- Grille 29 embraced the space experience with the starry sky display over the bar. Over 1.3 miles of fiber optic lighting were used to make the constellations in the northern hemisphere and guests can catch a glimpse of a shooting star or comet over head as they enjoy their dinner. Grille 29 also boasts the largest salt water aquarium in Northern Alabama featuring moray eels and exotic sea life. You are sure to find relaxation somewhere between the sea and stars at the bar while you enjoy our extensive, yet approachable, wine list with over 100 wines- over 40 of which are available by the glass.
Why the name Grille 29? We feel like 29 is the perfect age- You are old enough to know better and young enough to do it anyway! According to the Periodic Table the number 29 represents the element of Copper. That's why when you are in Grille 29 you'll find hints of Copper all around, from the copper water wall as you enter the lobby to the warm copper color scheme throughout the restaurant , the copper hinges on the doors, and even our hand-cut glass pedestal sinks with copper in our restrooms. Finally, do you know the main route in and out of Napa Valley and Yountville? You guessed it....Route 29. Many of our wines featured in the restaurant are produced from this region.
We know that you will enjoy the hand-cut filet mignon, Sushi grade ahi tuna, line caught Black Grouper or the premium Sea Scallops shipped in daily from the cold waters of New England prepared by our Executive Chef. Whatever the occasion, we look forward to providing you with the "sophisticated sizzle" that is Grille 29.
